Danka, the NGO dedicated to support Pakistan´s vibrant cultural life, is organizing a guided day tour to Bhera and Miani in Sarghoda District. Trip Plan: - Departure from Lahore (Thokar Niaz Baig) 7:30 AM Sharp - Arrival at Bhera around 9:45 - Visit the Bugiva Mosque - Visit the Bugiva Library - Visit The Old Hindu and Sikh Temple - Visit the Old City, Gates and Bazars of Bhera - Visit the Old City, Gates and Bazars of Miani - Visit the Tomb of Shamas-ul-Ameer Gilani, a blend of old and new architecture. - Departure from Bhera 5:00 PM - Arrival at Lahore (Thokar Niaz Baig) 7:30 PM City Profile: Bhera city was built in the wall like old Lahore and there were several gates in the walls, Bhera and Miani are historic towns where beautiful ancient buildings are intact with marvelous wood work on their doors and balconies of the houses and there is also an old mosque which was built by Sher Shah Suri. He has traveled extensively in the all areas of Pakistan and he knows his land very well. He has vast experience of arranging trekking and traveling tours with various groups and will provide detailed information on the sights visited in Bhera and Miani.
