Danka is something special. It is like a library of culture, a guide to (re)discover your Pakistan.

It is one of the few places where you can go to find your own roots, your history, but as well Pakistan's culture of today and maybe your own future place in it. Danka is a place where you can share your own cultural recommendation with others, and create the culture of tomorrow's Pakistan with your support and promotion.

Danka is free, because Danka is a not-for-profit social initiative, it is a project to give rather than to take, a project based on voluntary work, on your support and commitment. But to continue and develop our work and the service we provide for you and the cultural life of Pakistan, we are dependent on donations, so that we can fulfil this vision.

Everyone can immediately contribute to Pakistan’s cultural life by adding their event information to Danka's open and freely accessible database. Simply register and start adding content!

But aiming at a comprehensive and professional coverage of Pakistan's cultural landscape Danka is always looking for volunteers, who commit themselves to gather event informations systematically, are ready to roam around the city to review venues and events, or conduct interviews with creative artists and event organizers.

Our partners are:

	Lahore Chitrkar, studio & gallery is a registered non-profit, non-commercial organization founded in 2001 by a group of painters, architects, writers, dancers and musicians. It has been involved in Danka right from the very beginning and is our main partner in Lahore and contact to local artist.
	The Lahore International Children's Film Festival is annual event to showcase the best of local and international films by and for children in Pakistan. Danka is media partner and together we promote the festival.
	The Little Art (TLA) is a non-profit arts education organization. TLA uses the medium of art to promote positive social values through innovative learning opportunities among children and young people, specially marginalized and from low income backgrounds.
	The Institute for the Preservation of Arts and Culture (IPAC) is a social enterprise devoted to the aim of promoting and preserving the traditional genre of arts in Pakistan.
	Kuch Khaas is a not-for-profit social enterprise comprising of a community space for public discourse, the pursuit of knowledge, meaningful entertainment, civic engagement and advocacy in the city of Islamabad.
	The Faiz Ghar is a project of the Faiz Foundation Trust, set up for the promotion of the progressive and humanistic ideas of Faiz Ahmed Faiz.
