Course Description:

In this workshop students will learn about the history and theory of the European folk music traditions of Hungary, Bulgarian, Macedonia and Turkey. Students will practice the rhythm and the melodies as well as the words of different songs, and compare these to their own musical heritage.

Timing:

• Start date: 2nd May 2012 (1 month)
• Days in a week: Tuesday-Wednesday
• 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Materials Needed:

• Notepad

Learners:

• Minimum Number: 1
• Age Range: 14 and above
• Free students: None

Fees:
• Per student: Rs.6000/-
