Identity Cards AMBER HAMMAD AYAZ JOKHIO AHMED ALI MANGANHAR HAIDER ALI JAN MOHAMMAD ALI TALPUR SHALALAE JAMIL From the period of Roman Emperors to our studio photographers, human beings have been trying to preserve them through images of their faces. Leading to immortality, these pictures - or portraits reflect more than the likeness of a face. These reveal the inner feelings of a person as well as the outside world and how it has its impact on an individual. In `Identity Cards`, the artists have extended the idea of portrait, employing multiple images, techniques and materials. Here the face emerges as a symbol for a range of meanings and connotations, personal and private as well as public and societal.
