Ozzir Zuby was born in 1922 and graduated from the Mayo School of Art (now NCA) in Lahore just a few years before Independence. He studied sculpture in Italy and made a successful career creating sculpted portraits of the famous. Ozzir Zuby was unmatched not merely in sculpting and pen drawing; he also pioneered the art of three-dimensional calligraphy and turned it into a form of painting, attracting critical attention. |
