Sania Saeed is acclaimed and respected as one of the most versatile actors of television and theatre in recent times. Though she is acting since the age of 10 doing social and community theatre, she made her first television appearance in 1989 in a street play "Aurat" recorded for television. She made her mark in a memorable play ‘AAHAT’ in 1991 followed by ‘SITARA AUR MEHRUNNISA’ in 1992. Sania is a Psychology graduate and has most effectively utilized her education in all her television and theatre projects whether it is a play or a talk show. As an actor, she makes conscious attempts to empathize with her characters to portray them as they are rather than as we think they should be. As a host and moderator, she is aware of the power of effectively constructed questions and keeps everybody focused around the theme resulting in most productive and thought provoking talk shows on sensitive issues in the society. She believes in what she is doing and only does what she believes in. Her emotional awareness and communication skills stand her apart from all her contemporaries, making her, undoubtedly, one of the greatest assets for the television industry. |
